Marcus Whitaker

Marcus consistently produces ideas and artwork that result in heightened awareness and positive change, from billboard campaigns to social media, print ads to marketing collateral. He makes simple things look stunning and that makes our clients smile.

He changes perspectives, raises awareness and shares information with others through strategic design. Marcus has an uncanny ability to identify opportunities that lead to positive change and consistently looks for ways to implement those initiatives.

His client experience includes projects around the world, with work displayed on every continent outside of Antartica.

Serving accounts both small and large, Marcus approaches client work with a team mentality and the heart of a true advocate. From creating a technology company to becoming a self-taught screenprinter that ships worldwide, Marcus continually surprises everyone he meets with his (discovered &) undiscovered talents.

Marcus earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Georgetown College and an MBA with a focus on entrepreneurship. He will always cheer for the University of Kentucky in basketball no matter where he lives, loves horses and horse farms, could build anything Jennie dreams up, says yes to learning something new regularly (which makes him the Jack-est Jack of all trades) and truly loves frigid temperatures. When he’s not behind his desk, he’s working in the garden, planning a project in the workshop or sitting outside drinking black coffee.

Jennie Whitaker

Jennie's sense of urgency is a perfect match for her clients. She is a strong communicator with an innate desire to craft messages that elicit action. With a keen ability to develop well-written content, she can distribute information in a moments' notice with great accuracy. Her approach has stood the test of time and she knows how to get the attention of the most important people in every industry.

From local museums to worldwide brands, Jennie has a proven track record of placing stories where they belong. It's a simple concept to her and she loves it.

Having successfully created an international festival with a global reach, the past two decades have taught her the importance of “never saying never”. Working for giant brands and big names, she has executed countless initiatives and earned media placements across the world. Over the past 22 years, she's gained experience in nearly every major industry and continues to enjoy the challenge of working with new brands. Jennie believes in the clients she chooses to work with and loves to see them succeed.

She recently took on two additional projects that make her proud, teaching “Creatives in Media" at the University of Hawaii West Oahu campus and is producing a six-state run of Stan Zimmerman’s play “Right Before I Go” this October in New England, bringing increased awareness to the topic of suicide.

Jennie has a bachelor's degree in public relations from the University of Texas and a master's degree in journalism and public relations from Texas Christian University. She whole-heartedly loves picking wild berries, perusing farmers’ markets and growing garden herbs. Her favorite place to dream big dreams is in a very specific spot in Kailua, on the eastern (windward) side of Oahu. In her free time she’s planting new ideas with her all-time favorite co-worker—her husband, playing with their three kids and two mini bernedoodles, or thinking about one of the many books she's started to write.

We're Better Together And We Know It.

With totally different job functions, but conjoined desks, there's unintended yet complete crossover in our work, just like any good collaboration. We support each others’ roles and brainstorm about our clients day and night.

The Seedling team lives together and works together. We know the value of communicating in a relationship, if we didn’t this whole husband and wife business wouldn’t work, so we stress active participation with our clients and encourage long-term relationships that continue to strengthen over time. It's worked for us, it’s worked for our clients and we know it’ll work for you.

With a combined 32 years of PR, advertising and marketing experience, we know enough to know we don’t know everything. We’re competent, honest and tenacious to the core. If we don’t know the answer, we’ll find out immediately. We love a good challenge.

When we aren’t supporting client initiatives or poring over traditional and social media, you’ll find us outdoors around Austin with our three kids, building something with our hands, repurposing a hidden treasure or dreaming about our next adventure.
